  • Room Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber (RTV) Products

    Rightchem-融太化工-RTV

    RTV silicone properties

    • Ideal solutions for ensuring numerous sealing, bonding and coating operations
    • Provide excellent resistance, enabling them to endure harsh weather and other aggressive conditions
    • Excellent resistance against aging, maintaining their initial properties far better than competing products, such as plastics or other polymers
    • Special additives enable RTV-1 silicone rubber to also withstand extremely high and low temperatures, thus enabling them to be adapted to the most challenging applications

    Wacker ELASTOSIL E43

    · Hardness 30 Sh A / · Tensile strength 6.5 mPa / · Good primerless adhesion to many substrates, e.g. metals, glass and ceramics / · Elongation 500% / · Industrial adhesives

  • Heat Cured Rubber (HCR)

Heat Cured Rubber (HCR) is a silicone elastomer formed of straight chains with very high molecular weight. It's also known as High Temperature Vulcanizing silicone rubber (HTV).

    Additives

    Curing methods

    • Made from reactive silicone gums (straight chains)
    • Has very high molecular weight macromolecules containing various reactive groups
    • The most frequently used gums are either partly phenylated or perfluorinated vinylated gums
    • Add fumed or precipitated silicas with high specific surface area to improve mechanical properties
    • Can also add heat stabilizers and various other additives such as plasticizers or anti-structuring agents
    • Cross-linking occurs using organic peroxides in polycondensation systems, or
    • Platinum catalysts in polyaddition systems
